During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio address, 'Mann Ki Baat', Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant praised India's advancements in the clean energy sector. He highlighted the significance of the indigenously developed fast breeder reactor at Kalpakkam, which marks a significant stride in the nation's civil nuclear energy journey.
Sawant also acknowledged India's substantial progress in wind energy, with the country surpassing 56 GW of capacity. He emphasized these developments as notable steps towards achieving self-reliance and sustainable energy in India.
The radio program underlined various sectors, including the bamboo industry in northeastern states, the achievements of Indian students at a European mathematics competition, and encouraged public involvement in the upcoming Digital Census 2027.
