The Rudraprayag administration has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims traveling the Kedarnath Yatra route. To alleviate the challenges posed by the large number of horses and mules, all sector officers have been deployed and relief camps have been established.

District Magistrate Vishal Mishra emphasized the mandatory presence of a handler with each horse to prevent disorder and ensure traveler safety. Various medical relief points and seating arrangements are available along the route, while dedicated checkpoints monitor the health of the animals. Officers ensure compliance with these protocols to maintain order.

Continuous oversight is ensuring the pilgrimage remains orderly, minimizing inconvenience to devotees. Since April 19, the Char Dham Yatra has seen increased vigilance, with multi-layered security arrangements by the Uttarakhand Police. Superintendent of Police Niharika Tomar personally inspected the Kedarnath route, affirming the administration's commitment to a seamless pilgrim experience.
