In a strategic meeting held at Kartavya Bhavan, New Delhi, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, delved into pressing concerns about the state's LPG supply and disaster readiness. Recognizing Uttarakhand's susceptibility to natural calamities, Dhami stressed the necessity of maintaining a full allocation of commercial LPG cylinders to support the Char Dham Yatra, a key religious pilgrimage that draws millions annually.

He underscored the critical role LPG plays in disaster management, particularly during the monsoon months when the state faces heightened risk. To enhance relief efforts, Dhami requested an additional 5 percent of LPG cylinder allocation. This move aligns with the broader objective of supporting Uttarakhand’s tourism-driven economy, where religious and adventure tourism are vital contributors.

Apart from the policy-level discussions, Chief Minister Dhami engaged with citizens at his Mukhya Sevak Sadan office, addressing grievances ranging from infrastructure to healthcare. He issued directives for the swift resolution of public issues, emphasizing the importance of responsive governance. The Chief Minister reiterated the administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability, aiming to swiftly bridge the gap between governmental resolutions and public expectations.
