In a decisive turn of events, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has razed an unauthorized part of a residence owned by an accused in the high-profile Tarun Kumar murder case. This development follows the Delhi High Court's unequivocal orders for heightened protection of the victim's family, amid persistent threats.

The Court, led by Justice Girish Kathpalia, emphasized the critical need for security for the family of the young man murdered in Uttam Nagar. The authorities have responded by installing CCTV cameras and deploying police pickets, ensuring a robust law and order setup in the affected locality.

The family, vital witnesses in the case, continue to face intimidation, as evidenced by a recent confrontation on April 13. The High Court has directed the local Station House Officer (SHO) to provide direct communication lines to the family and assured the examination of collected evidence against the accused, ensuring no stone is left unturned in seeking justice for Tarun Kumar.
