Though fire officials investigated, they couldn't confirm the exact cause. Police are probing into the matter, dismissing any hints of sabotage as no evidence currently supports such a claim. Meanwhile, the agriculture department assures farmers of government support.
The police have registered the incident as a fire accident based on the farmers' complaint. Power department officials were unavailable for comment. An official report recommending financial compensation for the farmers is in preparation.
