Union Home Minister Amit Shah has urged a concentrated focus on sustainable development in Ladakh, highlighting plantation and water security as critical elements, Ladakh LG VK Saxena reported.
In a meeting, Shah was briefed on the progress of Project Him Sarovar, emphasizing the creation of 50 water bodies across various villages and recent reforestation efforts.
The Home Minister advocated for a reinforced strategy during his visit to Leh on Buddh Purnima, aligning with environmental goals for the region's prosperity.
