Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a prominent player in India's energy and infrastructure sectors, has announced a substantial rise in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2026. The profit soared over 2.5 times to Rs 1,290.47 crore, driven by an impressive growth in revenues from the power segment.

The company's total income for the quarter surged to Rs 12,553.50 crore, up from Rs 9,142.64 crore in the same period of the previous financial year, marking a robust performance. The power segment alone contributed Rs 9,509.85 crore to the revenue, a significant increase from Rs 6,192.41 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter.

For the fiscal year FY26, BHEL's net profit jumped to Rs 1,600.26 crore, showcasing a remarkable improvement from Rs 533.90 crore reported in the prior year. Total income for FY26 rose to Rs 34,589.83 crore, underscoring BHEL's continued dominance in the sector. The board has also approved a final dividend of Rs 1.40 per share for the fiscal, underpinning the company's commitment to shareholders.
