A violent incident in Gwalior's Khureri village led to fatal results when a longstanding feud between two families erupted into gunfire on Tuesday evening. The clash between the Baghel and Kushwah families resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man and injuries to three others, amid ongoing tensions over land disputes.

According to reports from the City Superintendent of Police (CSP, Murar) Atul Soni, the altercation began with a minor incident involving a shop shutter but quickly escalated due to underlying resentment linked to property ownership. The argument turned physical and eventually escalated with gunshots fired, primarily believed to have come from members of the Baghel family.

Police have since launched a manhunt for the accused, who have absconded and locked their residences. Surveillance footage confirms the ferocity of the incident, with police estimating 10-15 rounds fired. Security measures are in place for the Kushwah family as investigations continue, and efforts to apprehend the suspects intensify.
