A significant fire erupted at a factory manufacturing RO water purifiers in Delhi's Kanjhawala industrial area on Wednesday. This triggered an extensive firefighting operation, as authorities scrambled to contain the blaze. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported, officials confirmed.

According to the Delhi Fire Service, they were alerted to the blaze at approximately 9:54 am. In response, multiple fire tenders were dispatched to tackle the flames. Deputy Chief Fire Officer DB Mukherjee informed that the fire's intensity increased progressively, being classified as a medium-level fire by 12:05 pm. 'This is the industrial area of Kanjhawala, and the fire was reported at 9.54 am. At present, 28 firefighting vehicles are in operation. The facility produces ROs. None of our employees have been injured,' Mukherjee stated to ANI.

Concerns over structural safety have forced firefighters to work externally, as the building faces a potential collapse risk. 'Given the construction, it’s unsafe to enter. We've taken special precautions to secure nearby factories. Despite limited water sources hindering efforts, the fire has not spread to adjacent structures,' Mukherjee added. Details surrounding the incident continue to unfold.
