The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) raised concerns on Thursday about an uptick in drone activity around nuclear facilities in Ukraine. In a statement, the agency reported over 160 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) spotted near South Ukraine, Chornobyl, and Rivne nuclear power plant sites on May 13-14.

The increased drone presence prompted the IAEA to monitor the situation closely. Despite the heightened activity, the agency confirmed there has been no direct threat to nuclear safety at these locations.
