Jain Irrigation Systems has announced a consolidated net loss of Rs 19 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26, citing higher expenses as a primary factor. The Maharashtra-headquartered company had previously reported a net profit of Rs 27.86 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, as per the company's latest regulatory filing.

During this time, the company's total income for the March quarter increased to Rs 1,824.63 crore from the previous year's Rs 1,750.15 crore. However, expenses also surged, reaching Rs 1,774.91 crore compared to Rs 1,703.71 crore the prior year. For the entire fiscal year, Jain Irrigation reported a net loss of Rs 39.99 crore, reversing from a net profit of Rs 25.69 crore the year before, although total income grew to Rs 6,413.31 crore from Rs 5,793.24 crore.

Commenting on the results, Anil Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, acknowledged challenges such as global uncertainties and a sharp rise in polymer prices due to geopolitical developments, which impacted their performance. Nonetheless, the company achieved a revenue growth of 4.3% year-over-year, buoyed by strong showings in the Hi-Tech and Agro Processing divisions. Looking ahead, the company is optimistic about policy continuity in India and plans to enhance revenue growth, project collections, and sustainable cash flow.
