Empowering Women & Children: Haryana's Vision for a Stronger Society

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the significance of empowering women and children for the state's development. Addressing the Women and Child Development Department, Saini detailed priorities for the next five years, focusing on forming an inclusive society under Haryana Vision-2047.

Saini proposed a 'Women Empowerment Index' to assess needs across districts, calling for enhanced facilities for women. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of Anganwadi workers receiving targeted training to effectively raise awareness among women.

Emphasizing children's growth, Saini urged activities to evaluate children's developmental milestones. The state plans to reward children excelling in shows and health competitions. Meanwhile, strategies to improve women's education and health, such as establishing work hostels and creches, are being pursued, Saini added.
