Uttarakhand's Sustainable Development Victory: A Green Path Forward

The state leads in Sustainable Development Goals as per NITI Aayog and promotes efficient energy use amidst global challenges, aiming for environmental protection and progress in business and startups.

At a district training camp in Devidhura, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami declared that the state had secured the top position in the country for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as reported by NITI Aayog.
He announced that Uttarakhand has been recognized in the Achievers category for Ease of Doing Business and as a Leader in Startup Ranking. This comes after the government outlined new guidelines for energy conservation and prudent resource usage.
Following cabinet directives, steps are being taken to enforce efficient energy use amid global economic challenges. Air conditioner temperatures in government offices will be regulated, and unnecessary energy use curbed. The government is also promoting public transit, carpooling, and expanded EV infrastructure.
