Authorities in Abu Dhabi swiftly responded to a fire sparked by a drone strike on an electrical generator outside the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant's inner perimeter, the Abu Dhabi Media Office announced on Sunday.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and radiological safety levels remained unaffected, officials confirmed.

The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation also assured the public that the plant's essential systems are operating normally in the aftermath of the incident.
