Lenskart Q4 profit drops 7.5 pc to Rs 204 cr

Eyewear firm Lenskart on Wednesday reported a 7.5 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 203.6 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, due to a rise in the expenses on components and inventories. .
The company had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 220.1 crore in the same period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing. .

Lenskart, in a letter to shareholders, said the sales of eyewear units grew by 25.2 per cent YoY to 97 lakh in the fourth quarter of FY26. .
Lenskart's average selling price in India grew by 15.9 per cent YoY in the quarter under review to Rs 1,865, driven by a continued shift in product mix toward premium products and the normalisation of last year's base, which was depressed by the new lens replacement offering launched in Q4FY25. .
Revenue from the international segment jumped 35.4 per cent YoY to Rs 1,054 crore, the company said. .
''While we benefited from favourable currency tailwinds, the underlying momentum remains strong. On a constant currency basis, Q4 clocked revenue growth of around 25 per cent YoY. This growth was broad-based, with robust performance across Japan, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and our other geographies,'' Lenskart said. .
For the 2025-26 fiscal, the company's net profit jumped nearly 68 per cent to Rs 501 crore from Rs 297.3 crore in FY25, according to the regulatory filing. Revenue from operations also increased 32 per cent YoY to Rs 8,814 crore.
The company recorded a 24.7 per cent YoY rise in eyewear sales to Rs 3.53 crore in FY26. .
Lenskart added 542 net new stores in India in FY26, compared to 282 in the preceding fiscal.
