Punjab & Sind Bank bags APY Annual Award of Excellence by PFRDA

Punjab & Sind Bank received the APY Annual Award of Excellence Achiever for its outstanding performance under the Atal Pension Yojana, promoting financial inclusion and social security.

Punjab & Sind Bank has received the APY Annual Award of Excellence Achiever for its outstanding performance under the Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

The award was presented by Financial Services Secretary M Nagaraju to Punjab & Sind Bank MD and CEO Swarup Kumar Saha at a ceremony organised by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) on Wednesday.

This recognition reflects the bank's continued commitment towards strengthening financial inclusion and promoting social security initiatives across the country through wider adoption of the Atal Pension Yojana, Punjab & Sind Bank said in a statement on Thursday.

Punjab & Sind Bank has consistently worked towards extending pension coverage to underserved and unorganised sectors, ensuring financial security and a better tomorrow for every citizen, it added.
