UP govt suspends two officials of energy department over laxity in duty
The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended two officials of the energy department, Yogesh Kumar and Rahul, for alleged negligence and laxity in discharging their duties.

The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended two officials of the energy department for alleged laxity in the discharge of duties, the state government said in a statement on Saturday.
Executive Engineer Yogesh Kumar, posted in Meerut, has been suspended with immediate effect for alleged negligence in departmental work. Similarly, Executive Engineer Rahul, posted in Ghaziabad, has also been suspended with immediate effect after serious negligence in duties was found against him.
Prima facie inquiry found that Rahul, posted in Electricity Distribution Division-II, Ghaziabad, allegedly showed serious laxity in discharging departmental responsibilities, following which disciplinary action was taken against him.
In addition, Superintending Engineer Ramanand posted in Ghaziabad, has been given a special adverse entry for allegedly not taking interest in departmental work and not showing the expected level of activeness.
Chief Engineer (Transmission) West Meerut Satyendra Singh and Chief Engineer Agra Shailesh Gupta have also been issued warnings for alleged negligence in work, the statement said.
