In a significant push for India's infrastructure and governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed projects exceeding Rs 30,000 crore during the 51st PRAGATI session held at Seva Teerth on Thursday. The Prime Minister addressed advancements in key sectors including railways, power, and road connectivity, aiming to foster timely execution and streamlined efforts between Central and State governments.
Highlighting the urgency for renewable energy, Modi emphasized the adoption of rooftop solar projects across urban landscapes, targeting cities and public institutions. The integration of solar technology is expected to slash electricity costs while bolstering India's energy security and sustainability goals. Additionally, logistics were spotlighted with a call to develop the Vadhavan Port into a model of integrated transport systems, incorporating high-speed rail and freight corridors.
