Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Goa between September and October to inaugurate key developmental projects. These initiatives, backed by both the central and state governments, are nearing completion, as Sawant conveyed to journalists after meeting Modi.

The projects include a major flyover linking Panaji to Mapusa, which is on track for a September finish. Additionally, the Prime Minister plans to lay the foundation for other upcoming projects. During the discussions, Modi also sought updates on the political landscape in Goa, pointing to the dual nature of the visit—developmental and political.
