Parliament Committee to Review CBSE Board Exam Policies, Portal Launches Amidst Concerns
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education is set to discuss the On-Screen-Marking system in CBSE Class 12 exams and the three-language formula's implementation in Classes 9 and 10. Meanwhile, CBSE has launched a verification and re-evaluation portal for Class 12 students after overcoming technical challenges.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth & Sports is convening at the Parliament House Annexe to evaluate the impact of On-Screen-Marking (OSM) on Grade 12 CBSE examinations. The focus will be on student concerns and efficiency of evaluations since the system's adoption.
Discussions will also address the application of the three-language formula in secondary education, particularly for Classes 9 and 10. Senior officials from the Ministry of Education and CBSE will provide insights that may shape future policy recommendations.
This meeting occurs amid ongoing nationwide examination and language policy reviews. Concurrently, CBSE has launched a much-anticipated portal for Class 12 students, resolving earlier technical and cybersecurity issues that delayed its debut.
