The Commission has also condemned alleged incidents in Rajasthan, pressing state authorities for time-bound action and strict accountability.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken suo motu cognisance of alleged police misconduct involving Scheduled Caste women in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district, seeking an immediate probe.
NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar urged the state police for a swift and unbiased investigation, demanding a detailed report within a week.
Separately, the NCW also addressed severe claims of exploitation in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, calling for decisive legal measures and accountability.
