Addressing the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Zone-II Conference in Chandigarh, Birla stressed that transformative policies and public involvement are crucial for realizing this vision.
Birla, while speaking at the Haryana Legislative Assembly Chamber, emphasized the essential role of legislators in driving grassroots change through effective policies and welfare initiatives. He noted that public participation in democratic processes is vital for social transformation and that enhanced public engagement in political discourse can accelerate India's development.
The conference, attended by distinguished figures including Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh and Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh, focused on pressing issues like geopolitical tensions and India's strategic response.
