In a significant event at the Tagore Auditorium in Chandigarh, a high-profile delegation, led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, attended the screening of the play Jivant Samvidhan. The event saw the presence of Haryana Governor Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and other legislative dignitaries, including members of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) delegation.
During the event, Speaker Om Birla articulated a compelling vision for 'Viksit Bharat', emphasizing it as a national endeavor that demands collective effort from every citizen and institution. He stressed the importance of aligning policies, schemes, and budgets to foster transformative societal changes. Birla identified the 21st century as a turning point amidst global shifts and geopolitical tensions, noting India's progress through stable governance and a robust legal framework.
Addressing the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Zone-II (North Zone) Conference at the Haryana Legislative Assembly Chamber, Birla underlined the crucial role of legislators in effecting grassroots transformation and public welfare. He called for a nationwide movement, urging every individual to contribute toward the development of India, expressing optimism that with united efforts, India will realize its developmental goals well before the targeted year of 2047.
