Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has accused the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of targeting small Hindu traders in Punjab. In a statement on X, Kejriwal criticized the ED's actions, describing the raids on traders as harassment.

Kejriwal has appealed to the trading community not to panic, assuring them of the Punjab government's support. He emphasized, 'I appeal to all traders - there is no need to panic. The entire Punjab and the Punjab government are with you. We will confront the ED together.'

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate carried out searches at six locations in Ludhiana and Jalandhar, Punjab, and in the Delhi-Noida region, as part of an ongoing investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The probes are linked to a real estate case involving Hampton Sky Realty Ltd. Officials have confirmed these searches cover both residential and business premises connected to entities under investigation.
