Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated a key consultative workshop in Bhopal focused on 'Strengthening Cybersecurity Frameworks for State Data.' The event marked the announcement of a new Cybersecurity Research Centre in Mhow, underscoring the state's commitment to enhancing digital security measures.

Highlighting the significance of cybersecurity, CM Yadav stated, "Secure data means a secure nation." He emphasized the essential nature of safeguarding digital assets, aligning state efforts with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for stringent data protection measures. Heavy penalties are in place for data security breaches, reflecting the administration's strict stance.

The center, established in collaboration with the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, aims to advance research and skill development. It seeks not only to innovate but also to aid in the timely identification of cyber threats. Citizens were urged to remain vigilant and report cyber frauds, ensuring a collaborative approach to digital safety.
