Nigeria's army, police and civil defence personnel have assembled near the Court of Appeal in Abuja as reported by Channels Television. The premises is now barricaded by security personnel, the reason for the heavy security is unknown but the appellate court also serves as the venue for the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The court has also reserved its judgement yesterday in the case regarding the West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate of Ademola Adeleke, which APC chieftains allege is forged.
