Syrian forces reportedly carried out several airstrikes over the southwestern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.
According to AMN News, the Syrian Air Force specifically targeted the Regiment 46 Base that is located just north of the Idlib Governorate's border.
The airstrike by the Syrian Air Force comes just days after the Syrian Arab Army strengthened their military positions in southern Aleppo town of Al-Hadher.
The Syrian Army's high command is mulling a new operation to clear all of the militant forces from the southern part of Aleppo.
