Massive fire breaks out near Justice Tower in Iraqi Kurdistan's Erbil

A massive fire broke out in a hardware store in Erbil city of Iraq, according to media reports. There were no casualties reported but a firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The fire was eventually brought under control by the fire brigade who struggled to control it was emitting thick black smoke.

The fire started near and not at the store but soon took over it, according to a local news platform Rudaw.

The store is located in a residential area close to Sami Abdul-Rahman Park and Justice Tower. Pictures being circulated on social media shows the whole area covered in smoke due after the massive fire.
