Ajaz Khan sent to judicial custody for 'objectionable' video promoting enmity

Actor Ajaz Khan has been sent to judicial custody for a period of 14 days for creating or uploading videos with objectionable content promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, & creating hatred among the public at large, according to news agency ANI.

The ex-Bigg Boss contestant was arrested by Mumbai Police on Thursday. He had reposted an old video in which he allegedly mocked the Mumbai Police as the department that booked Faisu Khan over a controversial Tik Tok video regarding Tabrez Ansari lynching case. Faisu's account, which had millions of followers, was suspended after the video.

It is not for the first time that the actor has made headlines, last year also he was arrested for possessing drugs worth Rs 2.2 lakhs. He was arrested by Anti Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai police with eight ecstasy tablets.

On the professional front, Ajaz, apart from featuring in 'Bigg Boss', has starred in films such as 'Allah Ke Banday', 'Singham Returns', 'Rakhta Charitra' and 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap' and acted in several television daily soaps including Rahe Tera Aashirwaad and Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki.
