IDF worker killed in explosion at Tel Hashomer military base in Israel

A civilian worker of Israel Defence Force (IDF) has been killed in an explosion that occured at the Tel Hashomer military base in central Israel, according to local media reports. The worker was earlier reported to be seriously injured and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.  A second worker was also lightly injured and has been taken to the hospital. The blast has occured as a result of fire extinguisher explosion

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire extinguisher to explode. The military said it was investigating.
