Dehradun: Educational institutes to be closed due to predicted heavy rains

The District Magistrate, Dehradun has announced that all educational institutes from Class 1st to Class 12th, and Anganwadi Centers will remain closed tomorrow in view of the forecast of heavy rains, according to news agency ANI.

Meanwhile, schools and colleges in several districts of Maharashtra will also remain closed tomorrow due to a flood-like situation. All schools and colleges will be closed in Sangli, Satara and Kolhapur district tomorrow, following the flood-like situation in the region. Schools and colleges in five Tehsil's of Pune and five Tehsil's of Raigad districts will also be closed.
