Belarus state energy company Belneftekhim has agreed with Russia to raise the oil transit tariff by 3.7% starting from Sept. 1, the Belarusian Belta state news agency reported on Tuesday, citing the company.

Belneftekhim said the tariff would be raised to compensate for a drop in flows linked to oil contamination earlier this year, and that the two countries would discuss tariffs again at the end of the year, depending on flow volumes, Belta said.
