Watch: Huge fire breaks out at Oregon Pallet Company in Salem

A huge fire has broken out at in Salem, the capital city of Oregon. The fire is burning at 1650 Salem Industrial Drive Northeast. No casualties have been reported yet. According to the Salem Fire Department, it is a 4 Alarm Fire and involves large quantities of the pallet. The firefighters are on the scene carrying out operations to contain the fire. The department has advised people to stay out of the industrial area.

According to sources, the owners of the company have said there was no one inside the facility.

The cause of the fire is not known yet.

The National Weather Service Portland posted a satellite image of the spectacle on its official Twitter account. The fire is apparent via the dark pink/purple spot shown on the image. The whiter areas are low clouds. The lighter pink/purple areas are cloud-free.
