Pakistan Minister for Human Rights, Shireen M. Mazari has written to UNICEF Chief stating that UN Goodwill Ambassador for Peace, Priyanka Chopra has "publicly endorsed Indian government's position (on Jammu & Kashmir)."
Priyanka Chopra was recently in the midst of a major controversy after she was accused of being a "hypocrite" by a Pakistani influencer at BeautyCon festival in Los Angeles. The incident sparked thousands of reactions online as people started blaming her for "promoting nuclear war" while many others coming up in support of her "patriotism".

Bilateral ties between India and Pakistan have been disturbed over the last 2 weeks after New Delhi decided to revoke Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir, which has been at heart of conflicts between India and Pakistan over the decades, is a disputed region.
