UK expects EU to facilitate vaccine deliveries, says PM's spokesman

Britain expects the European Union to facilitate all deliveries of vaccines, a spokesman for Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday, repeating the government wanted the doses to make sure the most vulnerable were vaccinated.

"It remains our priority to vaccinate the most vulnerable people across the UK ... We continue to have confidence in our supplies, (we) are continuing to work closely with the EU and expect them to facilitate all contracts and deliveries," he told reporters.
