Norway companies see better outlook, considerable variations, c.bank survey shows

Norwegian companies expect some increase in overall activity in the second quarter of 2023 with a further pick-up in the third quarter, but there are wide variations between different industries, a central bank survey showed on Thursday.

"In most sectors, developments are more favourable than contacts expected in the previous survey, but there is still considerable cross-sector variation," Norges Bank said in a statement.
