NAIROBI, KENYA - The Merck Foundation celebrated a significant milestone at its Kenya Alumni Summit by awarding 165 scholarships in 42 critical medical specialties, a testament to its commitment to transforming healthcare in Kenya.

The summit, chaired by Prof. Dr. Frank Stangenberg Haverkamp and Senator Dr. Rasha Kelej, highlighted the foundation's efforts in patient care enhancement and capacity building. Dr. Kelej expressed pride in recognizing Kenyan alumni transforming healthcare landscapes, with an emphasis on specialized medical fields such as Oncology, Fertility, and Cardiology.
