Akums Drugs Unveils Innovative Solution for Gastrointestinal Disorders

Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals has introduced a new combination drug for gastrointestinal tract disorders, encompassing Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride SR capsules. Approved by the Drug Controller General of India, this medication aims to alleviate symptoms and enhance the overall well-being of patients suffering from such conditions.

In a significant development, Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals announced on Monday the launch of a pioneering combination drug for gastrointestinal tract disorders.

The company has rolled out Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride SR capsules after receiving the green light from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). According to Joint Managing Director Sanjeev Jain, this medication is designed to ease symptoms, improve gastrointestinal function, and boost patients' overall well-being.

Mr. Jain stated, 'Clinical studies have demonstrated that Rabeprazole not only alleviates heartburn but also improves other dyspepsia-related symptoms. Levosulpiride offers rapid relief and better healing outcomes with fewer side effects, elevating the overall treatment experience.' Akums emphasized that this combination drug marks a groundbreaking solution for gastrointestinal issues.
