The Latur Zilla Parishad has launched 'Umang on Wheels,' a mobile therapy service targeted at identifying developmental disorders in young children across the district, according to an official statement on Sunday.

This mobile clinic, a collaboration between the ZP and the Umang Rehabilitation Centre, serves children aged 2-6, providing critical neurological evaluations. The initiative focuses on early detection of autism at the village level, aiming to initiate prompt treatment.

Since its inception, 'Umang on Wheels' has reached 50 centers, aiding 250 children with autism-specific interventions and 150 children with other neurological disorders. The brainchild of ZP's CEO, Anmol Sagar, it also offers speech, behavioral, and occupational therapies, as well as physiotherapy.
