Global Health's Q1 Profit Rises 4% as Medanta Secures Key Mumbai Land Parcel
Global Health, under the Medanta brand, reported a 4% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 106 crore for the first quarter ending June 30, 2024. Revenue also rose to Rs 861 crore. The company secured a significant land parcel in Mumbai, marking its market entry with plans for a 500-bed hospital.
Global Health, operator of hospitals under the Medanta brand, announced a 4% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax, reaching Rs 106 crore for Q1 ending June 30, 2024.
Revenue from operations grew to Rs 861 crore in the June quarter, up from Rs 779 crore in the same period last year.
Medanta's entry into the Mumbai market was confirmed with a successful land bid, paving the way for a 500-bed super-speciality hospital at Mauje-Oshiwara, Jogeshwari.
