Security has been intensified at AIIMS-Patna following the horrifying rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, officials announced on Saturday.
Dr. Gopal Krushna Pal, Executive Director and CEO of AIIMS-Patna, stated that 150 more CCTV cameras will be installed and additional female security guards will be deployed to bolster campus safety.
A special meeting with departmental heads, wardens, and security supervisors resulted in new stringent hostel rules to ensure the safety of students. The tragic incident at RG Kar MCH has led to a comprehensive review and upgrade of security protocols.
