Glenmark's US Arm Launches Generic Eye Itching Medication

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals' US-based subsidiary, Glenmark Therapeutics Inc, has launched Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution, a generic medication for eye itching, in the US market. Fabio Moreno, the Head of OTC Sales & Marketing, stated that this launch addresses the growing demand for a new supplier in this category.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals on Monday announced that its US-based subsidiary, Glenmark Therapeutics Inc, has introduced a generic medication used for eye itching.

The Mumbai-based drug maker revealed in a regulatory filing that it has launched Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution (OTC) in the US market.

Fabio Moreno, Head of OTC Sales & Marketing at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc, emphasized that the introduction of Olopatadine Ophthalmic Solution (USP, 0.1 percent), meets the growing demand for a new supplier in this category.

Moreno stated, "This addition highlights our commitment to meeting market needs and providing high-quality over-the-counter solutions for our customers."
