Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced this ambitious goal during the inauguration of the 16th National Conference of AIDS Society of India, emphasizing a focus on healthcare infrastructure and happiness index.

The roadmap, part of the Viksit Gujarat@2047 initiative, aligns with the broader national goals of Viksit Bharat@2047. Patel affirmed the state's commitment to providing top-tier healthcare services and securing comprehensive health coverage for all residents.

Commending the efforts of AIDS Society of India, Patel noted significant progress in alleviating the stigma surrounding HIV-AIDS. Meanwhile, the government's budget allocation for healthcare has risen by 16% to Rs 23,385 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26, underscoring a profound commitment to enhancing health services.
