Ranchi Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (RCHRC), established by the Tata Cancer Care Foundation, hosted a dynamic community engagement and awareness event on Saturday under the banner 'Cancer Se Jeetna Sambhav Hai.' The initiative underscores RCHRC's commitment to boosting cancer awareness and encouraging early detection.

The day's activities started with an invigorating motorcycle rally. More than 500 enthusiastic participants, encompassing doctors, cancer patients, caregivers, and members of the local community, traversed an 8-kilometer route from Morabadi Grounds to RCHRC.

RCHRC also organized a complimentary screening camp to further facilitate early detection. Dr. Chandra Kishore Shahi, director-in-chief of health services for the government of Jharkhand, highlighted the multidimensional battle cancer represents, emphasizing the role of such events in advocacy, education, and bolstering a support network. Echoing this sentiment, Dr. (Colonel) Madan Mohan Pandey, RCHRC's director of medical services, stressed the significance of early detection and timely intervention in improving cancer outcomes.
