Tragic Loss: Medical Student's Untimely Demise
A 28-year-old medical student, Arya Kumari Jha, allegedly took her own life in Bokaro, Jharkhand. Dissatisfaction with her medical field choice was cited in her suicide note found in her hostel room. She had recently joined a Diplomate of National Board program in gynaecology.

In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old medic was discovered hanging in her hostel room in Jharkhand's Bokaro district. Authorities disclosed that Arya Kumari Jha's death was an alleged suicide, driven by dissatisfaction with her chosen field in medicine.
Bokaro City DSP Alok Ranjan confirmed the recovery of a suicide note from Arya's room, which detailed her discontent with the medical trade. She was a first-year student enrolled in a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) gynaecology program at Bokaro General Hospital.
The DNB is a postgraduate degree provided by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. Arya's roommate, alarmed by the locked door, summoned help after repeatedly failing to get a response. Upon forced entry, she and others discovered the unfortunate scene.
