In a tragic turn of events, a pregnant woman tragically passed away during surgery at a district hospital in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, sparking public outrage on Monday.

Officials, including police and district authorities, worked tirelessly to calm the escalating situation, which drew a large crowd. The district magistrate has ordered a thorough investigation, spearheaded by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Arun Giri, who must submit a report within 15 days.

The victim, Pooja Pandey, aged 35 from Ibrahimpur village, went into the hospital for childbirth. Despite a successful delivery of a baby boy, she did not survive post-surgery. District Magistrate Vishal Singh assured that suitable actions would be taken based on the investigation report's findings.
