Zepto has announced its foray into the online pharmacy sector with the launch of 'Zepto Pharmacy', offering medicine delivery within 10 minutes in select metro areas. The service has been launched in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad, following a 12-month pilot phase to refine operations before this major launch.

Quick commerce platform Zepto has made a strategic move into the online pharmacy sector by launching 'Zepto Pharmacy', which promises to deliver medicines within an unprecedented 10-minute timeframe in select metropolitan regions.

The service, officially unveiled on Thursday, is initially available in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad. This rollout follows a year-long pilot phase aimed at fine-tuning operations, according to Zepto Co-Founder and CEO Aadit Palicha, who shared the announcement on LinkedIn.

By entering the competitive online pharmacy market, Zepto is up against established players such as Tata 1mg, PharmEasy, and Apollo 24/7. Zepto aims to enhance accessibility and improve lives by ensuring that vital medicines can be accessed swiftly and efficiently.
