In an innovative move, Nova Fertility Clinic is set to incorporate Artificial Intelligence into its IVF labs, enhancing precision in embryo selection. This pivotal development aims to reduce the number of embryos required for transfer, thus addressing ethical dilemmas arising from multiple pregnancies.
The collaboration with South Korean tech firm Kai Health will see the implementation of the AI-based system, Vita Embryo, across 120 clinics in 65 cities. This deployment is poised to revolutionize embryo assessment processes.
Shobhit Agarwal, CEO of Nova Fertility Clinic, highlighted the importance of improved precision. Meanwhile, Hyejun Lee, CEO of Kai Health, revealed that their research shows AI intervention can enhance the precision of embryo selection by 12%, offering a significant leap forward in fertility treatment.
