Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda has spotlighted the growing importance of the medical technology sector in advancing healthcare accessibility and affordability across the nation. Speaking at the Asia Pacific MedTech Forum, Nadda underscored the sector's expansive role in diagnostics, digital health, and AI-driven innovations.

Emphasizing the foundation of India's health transformation, the minister highlighted the sector's significance, bolstered by the government's commitment to enhancing access, innovation, and infrastructure. The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association, APACMed, continues to leave a notable impact with its expanding presence in India through advanced manufacturing and global supply chain participation.

Aligning with Prime Minister Modi's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, the event saw Union Minister Anupriya Patel discuss the government's initiatives to bolster the MedTech sector. She highlighted policies such as 100% FDI in medical devices and the creation of councils to ease business processes and stimulate exports.
