The Raura area of Bilaspur district has reported a troubling dengue outbreak, with 16 cases emerging over the past 15 days, according to health officials on Wednesday.

Concentrated in wards 1 and 2, the increase prompted Chief Medical Officer Dr Shashi Dutt Sharma to acknowledge the rising trend. The health department, along with municipal council efforts, is conducting persistent fogging and source control to curb spread in affected zones.
